Do about 3/4 sets, but only in the last set you wanna go to failure. So first set can be 12 reps, next one 10, next 8 and last one 6 heavy reps.

One would think to get that big you would do more weight. I do 30lb. (3sets of 10) and I’m much smaller. I would think you get a different muscle than what he has with a lot of repetitions
